Springfield Kiwanis Club
Music with a Purpose
As the proud founders and organizers of the festival, the Springfield Kiwanis Club works behind the scenes year-round to make this community event possible. Every single dollar raised through sponsorships and festival vendors goes directly toward funding Kiwanis programs that serve children right here in Clark County.

Over 100 Years of Service
The Kiwanis Club of Springfield was established in 1916 to bring community leaders together for altruistic service. For over a century, our members have dedicated their time, energy, and resources to improving the lives of children in Clark County and around the world.
Empowering the Next Generation
A primary focus of our club is establishing Service Leadership Programs inside local schools. We believe that teaching youth the value of community service creates engaged, active adult citizens.
Our club proudly sponsors leadership programs across every educational tier:
-
K-Kids at Kenwood Elementary School
-
Builders Club at Hayward Middle School
-
Key Club at Springfield High School
Service to Our Community
-
Provide grants to local nonprofits serving children.
-
Provide scholarships to local high school seniors.
Signature Community Legacy Projects
Beyond music and leadership, Kiwanis builds permanent, positive spaces in Springfield:
-
The Kiwanis Children's Garden: Created as a legacy gift to celebrate the club's 100th anniversary, this free, interactive, and fully accessible outdoor space at Snyder Park offers regular nature programming, beauty, and wonder for area families
-
The Springfield Jazz & Blues Festival: Launched in 2022 as our signature fundraising event, this annual weekend gathering attracts thousands of visitors to downtown stages while generating vital sponsorship funds that pour directly back into local youth initiatives.
